If you have been holding your thumbs for a performance AMG version of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz X-Class SUV you can now let go as it is not going to happen. Motoring was speaking to AMG boss, Tobias Moers at the LA Auto Show and he said “No, there will be no AMG pickup. Maybe there’s a market for such a vehicle in Australia, but not in the overall plan.” If the AMG X-Class does not happen ever, you can bet your bottom dollar that tuning companies will offer something that looks very similar.
