Porsche Confirmed That New GT2 RS Will Not Get Manual

Since the 991.2 GT3 arrived with a manual offering, the next thing on the Porsche buyer’s mind is whether the new GT2 RS will get a similar offering but they have confirmed that it will not.

Porsche chief executive, Oliver Blume, said that it will be so focused on performance that it will only be offered with the company’s dual-clutch PDK transmission.

Porsche may not be referring to the model as the GT2 RS but sources indicate that it will be so ballistic that the ‘regular’ GT2 model will be skipped entirely. With power coming from a twin-turbocharged flat-six delivering up to 650 hp, it’s easy to understand why. This is going to be a complete and utter MONSTER!
