Mercedes-AMG has been trading blows with Audi Sport in the recent years with Audi currently holding the title thanks to their 395 hp RS3 Sportback.
Well it is safe to say that AMG is not happy with this as Tobias Moers, Mercedes-AMG boss, has confirmed that the next-gen A45 will have over 400 horsepower.
“The new 2.0-litre will be an all-new engine. Yes, an electric turbine is something we have a close link to, but maybe not in that first version. Yeah, we have to be over 300kW (402 hp), too, we know that. You have to be at a certain level,” he said.
