    Owner Takes Ferrari F40 To Collect LaFerrari Aperta But Burns To The Ground Instead

    According to GTSpirit, the shots you see below are the remains of a very rare Ferrari F40 supercar which burned to a crisp on a road trip.

    The driver was road-tripping to Maranello to collect their brand new LaFerrari Aperta when the car caught fire. Members from FerrariChat forum suspect that this is a rather special F40 which was one of seven converted to the F40 GT spec.

    It seems this owner might be a bit jinxed as a few years ago, his Lamborghini Miura SV caught fire too.
