We Should See An All-Electric Ferrari Supercar In The Future

Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has confirmed to Bloomberg that they are going to build an EV that will have no competition.

Surely the likes of Tesla will be the competition? I guess we will have to wait and see what they come up with.

Marchionne gave Tesla and Elon Musk kudos for doing what it’s managed to accomplish, but also undermined said compliment by noting that he believes “it’s doable by all of us.” He said that while it’s still likely a ways off, there are already firm plans in place to put out hybrid Ferrari vehicles first, and then from there, it should be “easy” for the automaker to move into electrics.

Marchionne also confirmed that the Ferrari SUV will be arriving in either 2019 or 2020.

    • We have done countless launch control starts in countless cars but this has to be one of the biggest surprises so far. It's not the fastest we have tested but the way it gets 2.2 tons off the line is something to experience. Get the British brute on some grippy tarmac and you will be blown away!

0 to 100 km/h is claimed to be 3.6s and that claim is accurate!
