Mach 1 Mustang Destroyed After Slamming Into Tree in South Africa

These are some disturbing images that have been doing the rounds on Twitter of a Mach 1 Mustang wrapped around a tree. The car seems to have lost control at a fairly high rate of speed before impacting the tree and completely wrapping itself around it. This is quite an old car and with a big heavy engine up front it might make it ‘easier’ to have ‘folded’ like this. No details on the driver as yet but I am sure some extremely serious injuries (if not fatal) would have been the case. Judging by the car number plate (pic not shown for various reasons) and the fire truck I think this happened in Pretoria but this is not confirmed.
