I love hearing news about the ulra-elite manufacturers and Koenigsegg is most certainly one of those! Koenigsegg have just released some official information on the new bonkers One:1 hypercar and as the name suggest that is the power to weight ratio they are aiming for. With fluids and driver on board, the new rocket ship will weigh 1400kg and produce 1400 horsepower. For those who are not too sure where the connection between that and the name comes is simply because it has a one-to-one power to weight ratio.
It will be based on the Agera hypercar but with some significant mods to make sure this is the ruler of them all. The performance estimates are truly staggering but the stand-out number is 0 to 400 km/h in 20 seconds flat. Top speed is estimated at 450 km/h which would knock the Veyron off the perch as fastest production car in the world. Only 6 examples will be for public sale with the first prototype hopefully being ready before end of the year. The price tag? Well it was never going to be cheap but the initial number is estimated at over $2 million.
