Aston Martin Toying with Idea of Producing Road-Going GT3 Version Of V12 Vantage S

Now this is rather exciting! Apparently Aston Martin a playing with the idea of making a road-going GT3 version of the V12 Vantage S. Current V12 Vantage S weighs in at 1665kg but engineering boss at Aston Martin, Ian Minards, states that “it would be relatively easy to lose 100 kg” by simplifying the cabin, removing AC and installing lightweight seats. Lots more carbon bits and pieces would also help reduce the weight. With the weight loss, the car would be an animal but Aston reckon they could push at least 600 horses from that 6.0-litre V12 which will make this car an animal! Can we see an Aston hit 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds? This might be the answer!
