Last year we reported that Audi were thinking about developing a hypercar but the technical chief, Ulrich Hackenberg, has said that a range-topping car is not on the agenda. He went on to say that it is “an interesting idea” but it “is not a priority”. I must be honest, I am not surprised with this news because all the speculation came out of the blue with no backing or whispers from the auto maker themselves.
