McLaren insisted that the new 650S would join their lineup in tandem with the 12C and will not be a replacement but now that we have seen the new McLaren 650S Coupe and Spider unveiled, I feel this is not true. Reports coming from the UK indicate that McLaren will continue to offer the older 12C to customers who order it, the company has actually already stopped production to get ready for the arrival of the new 650S. While this is not 100% confirmed, I am pretty confident that this is what has happened.
