Insane Caparo T1 Evolution On The Way

Remember the bonkers T1 by Caparo that was featured on Top Gear and caught alight under Clarkson’s rear end? Well they have just announced that the T1 Evolution is in development and available to order. As you would expect from the name, it is an evolution of the 2006 T1 which was an insane car back then. It had a 3.5-litre V8 capable of producing 575 horsepower at a screaming 10500 rpm but details about what will power the T1 Evolution have bot been provided. It is believed that it will have at least 700 hp and will include some technology like ABS, ESP and traction control. At this stage, no one knows if it will be road-legal but to be honest I couldn’t care less because a car with this sort of performance should only be allowed on a racetrack. The original T1 could hit 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds so expect this Evolution model to do this closer to the 2 second mark.
