AMG CEO, Tobias Moers, has confirmed that the C63 AMG successor will be powered by a V8 but declined to go into specifics on the engine. It will likely be powered by the same or ‘closely related’ twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 that is sitting in the new AMG GT but with less power and torque.
“It goes without saying that the successor to the current C 63 AMG will again be powered by an eight-cylinder engine.
