Porsche 918 Spyder Crashed Into Tree in China

During the early hours of the morning in Shanghai, a ‘female friend’ of the owner lost control of the German hypercar and slammed into a tree on the side of the road. According to reports, the driver mixed up the throttle and the brake (how can someone who does not know which is brake and accelerator get behind one of the fastest cars money can buy?). Both the driver and passenger (the owner) were not hurt in the incident but the same cannot be said for the beautiful car. No airbags deployed which likely meant that the speed was not too high and because all the damage is away from the engine, this car may actually make its way back onto the streets in the future.
