A member over at TeamSpeed has made mention that the Porsche 991 GT3 RS will likely get a slightly extended production run. This is due to the fact that a lot of customers did not get the chance to purchase the new 911R.

“Considering what happened with the new 911R (many purist customers did not have the chance to have one and they are not happy about it), Porsche decided to put back in production a little more 991 GT3 RS. Not many, but just enough to satisfy few extra purists.

Delivery will take place between July and October 2016.” – Swiss GT3
