The Golf GTI Clubsport packs 290 horsepower on overboost compared to the 305 coming from the Honda Civic Type R. One would think with the refinement of the GTI over time that this would be a proper battle but if you watch the whole video, you will see that this is not the case. The GTI Clubsport S will likely spank the Type R but that is for another day.
