TechArt have their new Techtronic Powerkit for the 911 Carrera S and Turbo S ready and it offers some seriously impressive increases in power and torque for just €3,900 plus VAT. The Turbo S and Carrera S get a 60 hp bump to a new output of 631 hp and 473 hp respectively. The Turbo S now only needs 2.7 seconds to hit 100 km/h and the top speed increases to 338 km/h. Sprint times for the CS/CS Cabrio/4S/4S Cabrio are as follows: 3.7s/3.9s/3.6s/3.8s – a 0.4s all-round improvement compared to the factory standard models. Once installed, the power kit can be activated via a driver switch, which works in ‘Normal’, ‘Sport’ and ‘Sport Plus’ modes, and can be operated with either the standard Sport button on the center console or the selector on the steering wheel. If you’ve got the car in Normal mode, the TechArt Techtronic kit remains inactive and the vehicle will only use its standard power and torque outputs.
