Yesterday the internet was a flurry of acceptance and rejection letters from Ford regarding applications for their new Ford GT supercar and it seems Joel Zimmerman aka Deadmau5 was one of the very lucky ones as he Tweeted that he had been chosen to be an owner. Now I have read a few letters from applicants who have huge Ford collections and still be declined so I can’t help but wonder if Mr. Deadmau5 was selected because of the exposure the car will get with him? Not a big issue at all as we know he takes his cars out regularly but I am sure there are some rather stiff-lipped applicants who got denied.
