Lotus has just added another variant to their Exige lineup and as you can see it is pretty hardcore! So much so that it is their most hardcore road-legal Exige yet.

It is heavily based on the Sport 380 but features heavily revised bodywork elements which increase downforce by 43 percent and it can now sprint to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds.

    • Supercharged Toyota-sourced 3.5-litre V6 continues to make 375hp and 410Nm torque
    • Mated to a close-ratio six-speed manual gearbox with a beautiful open-gate design.

“The biggest surprise for many is that it’s fully road legal – a considerable achievement considering the car’s performance capabilities,” said Jean-Marc Gales, Lotus CEO. “Unlike some rivals’ cars, this is something that really can drive to a track, set the fastest lap and take the win, before heading home. It’s supremely usable, yet outrageously fast.”

They are only going to build 60 examples worldwide which should make the Exige Cup 380 one of the most collectible models so far.
