Rolls-Royce Give The Black Badge Treatment To The Dawn

Rolls-Royce has given the Ghost and the Wraith the ‘Black Badge’ treatment but what about their drop-top machine known as the Dawn?

Well it is not longer left out because you can now order a Black Badge Dawn and you will get a 6.6-litre twin-turbo V12 pumping out 593 horsepower under the massive bonnet. If you know your numbers, you will notice that this output is a little less than the 624 hp from the Black Badge Ghost and Wraith but 30 horses more than the standard Dawn output.

Along with the power upgrade, they have tightened up the suspension, gearbox, steering, and throttle response, fitted bigger brakes, and equipped it with a variable exhaust system for an altogether sportier feel.

A Black Badge model is visually distinguishable thanks to a number of changes and enhancements too. The Dawn features a paint job that Rolls calls “the most exhaustive painting and polishing process ever used for a solid paint color.” The brightwork on the car has been blacked out (even the Spirit of Ecstasy) and the interior is an all-black canvas and leather affair.
