    Polaris Slingshot Officially Revealed

Finally the Americans have produced something worthy enough to go up against the likes of the Morgan Three-Wheeler because the latest offering from Polaris is in fact a three-wheeler. The Sling shot is powered by a 176 horsepower 2.4-litre EcoTec engine and is available in two versions. The base Slingshot gives you all the basics (which is probably the better option) but if you want it a little more civilized, you can opt for the SL version which gives you bigger wheels, Bluetooth, USB, rear-view camera and a slick red paint job. Both versions come with ABS, traction control, electronic stability control and electric power steering. It is technically a motorcycle and not a car which requires you by law to wear a helmet everywhere you drive. The base price is where it gets interesting because it is a low $20 000 which makes it one hell of a good price to have fun in one hell of a toy. No word on whether this will be coming to South Africa but I don’t see why not?
