So when the Golf GTI Clubsport S lapped the Nurburgring in 7:49.29 a few months back it took the title as fastest FWD car around the Ring but they knew it could do better… so they went back! On the 26th of October, the GTI Clubsport S managed to get around the epic track in 7:47.19 which beats it previous record by more than 2 seconds and increases the gap between them and their second place rival, the Civic Type R.
