    Affordable Naturally Aspirated Heroes

In a world of forced induction and nose reduction, sometimes you just want to hear naturally aspirated engine sing! Our hearts were broken with the end of V10 and V8 engines in F1. The electrically assisted V6 just doesn’t set the heart alight. Thankfully, there are still some road cars that love to be thrashed into producing a swan song all petrol heads crave!

    Audi S8 V10

The Audi A8 was an über luxurious saloon perfect for the well-established business man. Plenty of technology and lavish surroundings were more than enough to keep both the family and driver content for long cross-country jaunts. If, however, you decided a diesel engine wouldn’t do this beast justice, there was another option. The S8 featured a Lamborghini sourced V10 engine, producing 444bhp and 397lb-ft of torque. Paired with Audi’s Quattro four-wheel drive system meant this car was an absolute rocket!

    Porsche 911 Carrera

This may push the limits of what’s deemed affordable, but thanks to Porsche’s over engineering this car will run to the worlds end without so much as a puncture! This features the last of the pure flat-six motors packing around 350bhp. This helps the car achieve 0-62mph in 4.6 seconds!

Alfa Romeo 159 TI Q4 Sports Wagon

While the name is a complete mess, the car itself is a work of art. Despite sharing its looks with the base diesel model, the 3.2 litre V6 under the bonnet doesn’t lack any grunt. This also gives it the appeal as a sleeper car, pull up to any unsuspecting hot hatch and watch their tears fly as you leave them for dust!

    Nissan 370Z Nismo

Nissan’s Z cars have a fierce reputation across the world. By adding Nismo into the mix however, you’re sure to be at the wheel of a brutally fast car. The 3.7 litre V6 produces a very hearty 339bhp, all of this is sent through the back wheels so be prepared for some smoky burnouts!
