Mercedes Benz Car Seats: The Ultimate Guide for Choosing the Perfect One

In my theory of Mercedes Benz car seat fitting, the main goal is active and passive safety, as well as the health of the driver.

So, it all starts with the contact area of the person with the car. The first place is occupied by the driver’s seat and the passenger’s seat next to it, the second place is occupied by the steering wheel, the third one is the gearbox handle, the fourth one is the armrest, the fifth one is the pedals.

The driver’s AMG Mercedes seat comes together with Mercedes red seat belts, and as a rule, the buyer, choosing the Mercedes Benz model, rarely pays attention to his workplace, because the main thing is the car itself. We are all different in height, build, and physique and the seats in the cars are the same. And it turns out that the motorist weighing 100 kg and another motorist weighing 50 kg and much lower height is in the same seat while driving.

Conclusion: the most comfortable chair — is the chair which has a large number of adjustments and brilliant options like genuine Mercedes seat belts, only, in this case, it is possible to adjust it for yourself.

    Seat adjustments

These are designed to properly seat the driver in his or her Mercedes Benz car seat and maximize comfort while driving. Well, the simple truth: if you drive more than three hours a day, the shape of your spine takes the shape of the seat, and I highly recommend doing gymnastics, stretching your entire body 2 times a day.

Correct driving position: knees are bent in such a way, that when you press the clutch the left leg is not straightened out completely, there is a little reserve, and you don’t have to stretch; in the “hands-on steering wheel” position arms are slightly bent in elbows; back of the seat is not in lying position, but also not parallel to the steering wheel; mirror views must not be accompanied by torso bends, when shifting gear you must not stretch the body.

If there is a lumbar adjustment, adjust it to yourself so that there is no fall in the area of your back. The science of proper landing, shifting, and turning the steering wheel, of course, is better to learn with an instructor. And keep in mind, it’s better to learn how to do everything right away because after a few years of improper seating behind the wheel it’s almost impossible to retrain a person.

    Seat heating

In the wintertime, seat heating is one of the reasons to get haemorrhoids, radiculitis, and other unpleasant illnesses. So, if you have a Mercedes Benz, there is a wheel to adjust the temperature of the heating. When the temperature is below -15 degrees everyone starts using this device.

What is the right thing to do if your Mercedes is parked in the winter? Come to the parking lot with a bag with bedding made of natural animal skin or wool, not frozen, from home, throw it on your seat, sit on it, start and turn on the heating to the minimum.

Remember, the human body is most afraid of sharp temperature drops, and jumping out into the cold from a very warm seat, you do yourself great harm.

Keeping the seat heating on all the time in winter is not recommended. The smartest thing is a timer and the ability to warm the car for you to come, which is provided in all-new Mercedes Benz models.

    The upholstery of seats

It is divided into three main types: leather, leatherette, and cloth. In terms of convenience, the most practical – leather, it requires care in the form of monthly wiping with a special paste or spray, it serves for many years, wiped easily, and it does not leave dust, which, in terms of hygiene is very good. Finally, you may switch your ordinary car seats to AMG versions. Mercteil provides All available tuning and performance parts, so feel free to find the most suitable model of car seat for you and the model of your car.

It is better to wear covers to preserve the appearance. Car cleaning is recommended once a week, depending on the place of use. Somewhere, for example, you can vacuum the car every day, and it will still be dusty, except when it rains.

An important means of protecting yourself from dust in the summer is a cabin dust filter, but that’s another story and a topic for an article. Be careful, and good luck on the roads!
