This is one of the most intense crash videos I have ever seen. This Honda Insight was attempting to crack the 200mph mark at the El Mirage dry lake bed in the Mojave Desert when things went horribly wrong. The car does about 15 flips when control is lost at aound 190mph before coming to a rest. Brian Gillespie was the driver and only suffered a collapsed lung and gash in his leg. I say only because this could have been much much worse! Brian is back home from the hospital and doctors are confident his lung will function normally. Testament to the sheer build quality and necessity that is a roll cage.
