Another victim has been claimed at the Nurburgring during testing and this time it is the prototype Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series. This is designed as the most hardcore SLS and clearly the strain from the ‘Ring’ proved too much. It burst into flames during a hot lap and ended up looks rather toasted. Fire crews arrived in time to put it out but certainly not in time to save it. Hope the driver is ok!
