Here we go boys and girls… The SLS AMG Black Series has been unveiled and it looks awesome! Immediately one can see the styling cues taken straight from the GT3 version. The Black Series receives the carbon ceramic brakes as standard, 20″ wheels, carbon fiber rear diffuser (which looks epic), side skirts, front splitter and quad titanium exhaust pipes. The interior will feature a carbon center console with an Alcantara steering wheel. The engine for this version is the same 6.2liter V8 from the standard SLS but has been tweaked to produce 622hp (464kw). The 0 to 100km/h time now sits at 3.6seconds and has a top speed of 315km/h. I thought the 0 to 100 sprint time would have been a little closer to the 3 second mark but maybe I was just being a little optimistic. No word on the pricing but it aint going to be cheap and word on the street is that it will be twice the price of the standard SLS AMG.
