Track Only McLaren 12C GT Sprint Revealed…

McLaren just announced the track-only MP4-12C GT Sprint which will be shown to the world this weekend at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (oh how I wish I was going). The twin-turbo 3.8-litre engine delivers 625hp (459kW), the suspension has been lowered and some racing slicks have been slapped on.

There are 3 handling modes you can choose from which plays with ESP, damping settings as well as roll stiffness. On the outside, it gets the revised front bumper and the awesome GT3-inspired hood. Stopping will not be a problem either with carbon ceramic brakes sitting behind the 19″ center-locking OZ alloy wheels. Inside is FIA approved so you can see roll-cage, racing seat, harness etc. You can choose whether you want the carbon rear wing and front splitter but I think this is a must! There will only be 20 McLaren 12C GT Sprints made this year and I highly doubt we will see one in SA. This must be serious fun on a track! More pics here.
