The new Mercedes-Benz GL is a monster of a car aimed at the buyer who needs plenty space, fantastic safety and capable on all surfaces. The 2013 GL is certainly that! This 7 passenger sport utility vehicle is a tank on the road and I think this new generation design is a massive step in the right direction. The GL350 comes with a very efficient 3.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that pushes out 240hp which is more than enough to push you to 100km/h in less than 8 seconds. Fuel economy of the new GL on the open road is superb to say the least. The car weighs 2455kg and manages to get 10.9l/100km. This makes it one of the class leading BIG SUV’s in terms of economy. The features inside are extremely luxurious and range from heated, cooled and massaging front seats to a screen that displays a 360 degree view outside. This is quite an important feature to consider when you are buying a car this size. Surf4Cars have recently reviewed it and have put together a very informative video (shown below). They specialise in selling used cars and have a tremendous selection to choose from.
