I shared the first image of the spanking new 2014 LeMans racer for Audi and now we get the full details and a better view. It will debut on the 20th of April next year in the 6 hour race at Silverstone and of will of course participate in the Le Mans 24 Hours which takes place on the 14th of June 2014. Audi claims that “every single component” was redevloped because of the new LMP1 regulations for next season. The powerhouse is a V6 TDI engine powering the rear wheels and a e-quattro hybrid system driving the front. This version is a full 30% more economical so expect them to be VERY competitive once again in the grueling 24 hour race.
