Chevrolet has announced that the very first 2015 Corvette Z06 Coupe has been sold for a whopping $1 million at Barrett-Jackson in Palm Beach, Florida. The winning bid was submitted by Rick Hendrick who also bought the first 2014 Corvette Stingray Coupe, the first 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible and the first 2012 Camaro ZL1. Safe to say he likes Chevrolet models.
In a statement, GM President Dan Ammann said “We thank Rick Hendrick for his ongoing, generous support that will help Karmanos Cancer Institute provide better care and treatment for cancer patients. We are humbled by all those who are supporting the Annual Dinner and who are giving generously to help us exceed last year’s fundraising total of $2.5 million.”
