This is your first look at the new AMG GT3 racer from Mercedes and to put it simply it looks scary. Low and wide and tarmac hungry is a fairly good explanation I think. It will be officially unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show but for now we have this picture to tide us over. It is a safe assumption that the race car will keep the 4.0-litre V8 generating similar horsepower but it has gone on a weight loss program to make it race ready. This is one of the cooler looking racers I have seen in a while and I bet it is brilliant on the track.
