The lap record for a production car around the Top Gear track is 1:13.8 which was set by the beastly Pagani Huayra. Unfortunately, the three hybrid hypercars have not been taken around the track but Jason Plato (from fifth gear) managed to get his hands on the LaFerrari to see what it could do. The best time set was 1:14.2 which is a little bit slower than anticipated but there was some moisture on the track at the time. I don’t like excuses but I think the LaFerrari is good enough to beat the Pagani given the correct conditions.
