    Top Selling Honda Cars – Choice of Best Sellers from Honda

    The Honda brand is known for their reliability cars which exude a premium feeling. Their cars come with a low maintenance cost, powerful engines, and a durable body. Along with its trustworthy after sales service, guaranteed safety, and economy, Honda cars have come a long way.

    Let us take a look at the top selling Honda cars.

    Honda India has recorded a monthly domestic sale of more than 10,000 units in April 2015. This is a growth of 30% in the sales.

    The Honda City was launched globally in 1981. The City, now in its fourth generation, comes also with a diesel engine, an important feature that has gone down well with the Indian consumers. The petrol variants have been given a makeover, with the exterior as well as the interior getting a more sophisticated look and finish.  The new City gets an LCD screen on the dashboard, which has controls to the navigation system and entertainment unit. The new Honda City diesel prices start from Rs 8.37 to 10.99 lakhs and the City Automatic costs Rs 9.36 to 10.9 lakhs. The City sold 21,985 units during the April-June quarter to become the sixth largest selling model in India.

    The Amaze is one top selling Honda car. Launched in 2013, it is the first diesel sedan from Honda falling under the sub four metre category. The exteriors and the interiors look premium. With its amazing fuel efficiency of 25.8 kmpl, the Amaze has 12 variants that fall in the price range of Rs 5 to Rs 7.55 lakhs. The Amaze sold 15,182 units sold during the April-June quarter.

    Honda Brio is an entry level car. With its unconventional design, it has made a good impression in the market. The standard version costs Rs 4 lakhs. There are 7 variants available and the top end costs Rs 6 lakhs. The Honda Brio engine excels performance wise and also has decent fuel economy at 18 kmpl.

    Honda finally entered the MPV segment with the launch of the Mobilio. This 7-seater MPV combines sporty exterior design, space and comfort. It is available in 2 engines, 1 transmission and 2 fuel options with prices Rs. 6.5 lakhs onwards.

    The Honda CR V is not only a veteran on the roads but also another best seller from the Honda stable. It is a compact crossover sports utility vehicle with a sporty look and strong body. Honda CR V is available in 4 versions with prices ranging from Rs 20.25 to 24.36 lakhs.

    Honda is all set to launch the Honda Jazz on the 8th of July. Let us hope that the Jazz will figure itself in the top selling Honda cars very soon.
