Lat month we told you that the McLaren 675LT Spider will be coming and thanks to the latest spy pics, we can confirm that it is indeed happening (it is using the 650S Spider as a mule). Recently caught undergoing testing, the 675LT Spider follows in the footsteps of the coupe and should feature a number of modifications including stiffer springs, a recalibrated seven-speed SSG transmission, and a revised electronic stability control (ESC) system. Just like the Coupe, the Spider should benefit from a number of weight saving measures to shed about 100 kg off the 650S Spider weight. The McLaren 675LT is expected to be sometime introduced next year. It will eventually be joined by the 570 GT and the 570S Spider which is slated to be launched in 2017.
