BMW’s i8 will be available in Protonic Red but only for a limited period. It is part of a series of exclusive limited edition models poised to be unveiled for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show in the beginning of March. The Protonic Red is complemented by Frozen Grey accents with BMW W-Spoke alloys to finish things off. Inside you get red double-stitching and exclusive carbon fibre and ceramic trims. BMW will begin production of the i8 Protonic Red Edition at its Leipzig plant from July onwards before going on sale in September.
