We should see the facelifted 911 GT3 sometime this year as some spy shots of a test mule have been spotted testing on the Nurbugring. As you can see in the shots, the prototype is based on the 991.1 model but with a slightly modified front bumper with larger intakes. We can expect some subtle styling changes and possibly a new set of wheels but the most important aspect of the MK2 991 GT3 is the rumored manual gearbox offering. Sources suggest that Porsche has listened to buyers who were not pleased with the brand’s previous decision to offer the 991 GT3 exclusively with a PDK dual-clutch transmission. For the purists out there, this is great news!
