Porsche recently revealed a 2.9-litre V6 twin-turbo engine for their new Panamera and according to AutoCar, Audi will be using it in four new performance cars including the ‘entry-level’ Audi R8. It will also be used in the RS4, RS5 and RS Q5. This will be replacing Audi’s older naturally aspirated 4.2-litre V8 which kicked out 444 horsepower so expect the new unit to pack closer to the 500 hp mark.
