The upcoming Mercedes-AMG hypercar is something that has everyone salivating for more details and according to Autocar, Tobias Moers (AMG Boss) has confirmed that the car will produce approximately 1000 whopping horsepower. When the first reports showed their head, it was making mention of a car with 1300 hp weighing 1300 kg’s but Moers suggested that a a 1000 hp figure, similar to the power generated by the company’s current F1 powertrain, is broadly accurate.

According to Moers, between 200 and 300 units will be produced and customer deliveries should commence as early as late 2018.
