Here Are The First Two Customer Spec Koenigsegg Regera’s

Finally after waiting two years since the initial concept, customers will start taking delivery of their Megacar in the form of the Koenigsegg Regera. The first two customer cars (seen below) will be on display at the Geneva Motor Show. The start of the Regera’s production marks the first time that Koenigsegg will be building two different versions of its signature hypercars at the same time, as it continues to offer the conventionally powered Agera alongside the new hybrid.

As a reminder, the Regera packs a 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 assisted by three electric motors to deliver a combined output of 1500 horsepower. The powertrain is backed by a first-of-its-kind 800-volt electrical system, but uses no transmission to speak of whatsoever.

The performance figures are mind-warping to say the least with a 0 to 300 km/h sprint time of just ten seconds and all the way to 400 km/h in less than 20.

Two very fortunate individuals will be taking theirs home from Geneva this year. One sports a green-tinted carbon fibre bodywork that immediately makes the mind think of British Racing Green and the other is finished in candy apple red and black. Which would you take?
