RENNtech is no strange to tuning Mercedes-AMG models and their latest project sees the little A 45 S taken to a whole new level.
According to the tuner, the car has set a new record in its class at the Palm Beach International Raceway after running the quarter-mile in 10.652 seconds, at 127 mph (204 km/h).
The Mercedes SL65 AMG remains one of the most desirable and respectable cars even today.
It was not recorded on a closed course meaning that the pilot had to do some overtaking on the flying lap.
RENNtech’s performance upgrades have pushed the E63 S to be the fastest W213 E-Class on a quarter-mile.
No word on pricing but you can bet the full 825 hp upgrade will sting the wallet properly.
The car can now achieve a 3.1 second 0 to 100 km/h sprint.
They squeezed an additional 102 hp and 174 Nm of torque from the 4.0-litre.
