This will be quite the attraction at this years Frankfurt Motor Show and that is completely understandable. It is a Toyota Yaris fitted with a very angry body kit but has a hungry 400hp hybrid powertrain under the hood. It will use the same technology as their TS030 endurance race car (which came 2nd in LeMans). The 1.6-litre engine will be coupled with 2 electric motors (each powering one of the axles). It also features a lovely regenerative braking system to produce electricity and give the engine a little boost. Could this be a little indication that we may even see a hybrid GT 86 in the future? It might be but we will have to wait and see…
