Set to premiere and the Paris Motor Show next month, Bentley have dropped the covers on its new range-topping 530 horsepower Mulsanne Speed. It packs 25 horses more than the Mulsanne but with the increased  in performance you actually get an increase in efficiency too. The 6.75-litre V8 now produces a whopping 1100 Nm of torque which allows this monster of a car (2685 kg) to hit 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds and continue all the way to 305 km/h.

Besides the improvements to the engine, the Mulsanne speed gets a select-able sports suspension and steering on demand which stiffens the air suspension for better body control and the steering dynamics for improved feedback. Slight cosmetic changes have been made such as; dark tint finish applied to exterior stainless steel radiator grille, lower bumper grilles and wing vents and the headlights have also been darkened slightly. The Mulsanne speed gets a Bentley first ever directional wheel and they do look fantastic. You can opt for these in painted, polished or dark tint with machined accent finishes. Inside the car gets a new colour split with new stitch lines and the Piano Black veneer panels now get some handcrafted Carbon Fibre inlays to give a sporty feel. The new Mulsanne speed is also offered with the option of four new exterior colours; Spectre, Candy Red, Camel and Marlin. Not the world’s biggest fan of the look of the Mulsanne but I am sure this is one hell of a driving experience.
