Porsche Mission E Concept Is Headed For Production

Porsche has confirmed that the Mission E concept we saw at the Frankfurt Motor Show earlier this year will be going into production. This will make it the first, all-electric Porsche production model and it carries some impressive performance figures (concept form). The concept’s power is quoted as 592bhp from two electric motors, not dissimilar to those used in the 919 Hybrid LMP1 car. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes less than 3.5 seconds and the production model will apparently be able to take 80% charge in just 15 minutes.
