    The New Porsche Boxster Is Called The 718 Boxster

    So this is it, the new Porsche Boxster. This is what you need to know;

    • Now known as the Porsche 718 Boxster and 718 Boxster S
    • A few styling tweaks
    • 2.0-litre, four-cylinder boxer engine turbocharged to push out 295 hp for the 718 Boxster
    • 2.5-litre, turbocharged flat-four that pushes out 345 horses
    • 718 Boxster gains 34 horsepower over the previous 2.7-litre flat-six
    • 718 Boxster S also gains 34 horses over the previous 3.4-litre
    • 718 Boxster can hit 100 km/h in 4.7 secs and go on to top speed of 170 mph
    • 718 Boxster S can achieve it in 4.2 secs and go on to top speed of 177 mph
    • Ride height dropped by 10mm (20mm with Sport Chassis)
    • PDK models come with Sport Response button for 20 second enhanced boost
    • Slightly wider front profile with new headlights and integrated DRL’s
    • Improved Porsche Communication Management infotainment system
    British pricing: Begins at £41,739 for the 718 Boxster, while the 718 Boxster S starts from £50,695.
