At the launch of the new Honda Civic Type R today, Honda South Africa’s Operations Manager, Graham Eagle confirmed that they would not be bringing their NSX supercar to South Africa. Not much detail was given but one important point he made was that it would end up costing in the region of R6 million which would blow them out of the water. Very sad to hear this as I think it is one of the most epic and futuristic new supercars out there but I guess you need to make a decision that makes the most financial / business sense.
