Sir Peter Blake is considered the godfather of British pop art and is best known for creating the cover of The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album. He teamed up with Bentley recently to create a one-off Continental GT V8 S Convertible art car and these are the results. The car features a lower body finiished in British Racing Green with St Luke’s Blue upper body. The radiator shell is finished in Fuchsia Pink and there are some black accents as well as a St James Red hear painted on the yellow hood. The multi-coloured theme continues inside as each set is trimmed in a different colour; Cumbrian Green, Imperial Blue, Newmarket Tan, and Hotspur. The steering wheel is also made up of four colours and other highlights include special sill plates and Peter Blake’s signature embroidered on all four seat headrests. The car will be auctioned off at this years Goodwood Festival of Speed and the funds will go to Care2Save Charitable Trust which provides palliative and hospice care around the world.
