According to AutoCar, BMW are set to add the GranCoupé version to the 2-Series range which means the popular M2 will also be getting a 4-door version. It is likely setting it’s targets on the Audi RS3 Saloon but it has been confirmed by BMW that there will be a 365 horsepower hitting showrooms in 2019. We think this is completely crazy but BMW’s next-gen 3-Series is set to grow in size so they (BMW) think there is enough scope to accommodate another model. The 2-Series GranCoupé will sport a new interior layout that is also set to be adopted by the successors to today’s 2 Series Coupé and Cabriolet, which are due in 2020.
