This Is The Nissan GT-R Pursuit 23 And Yes It Is Real

When I first saw shots of this GT-R I first thought it was another wild rendering from some skilled digital artist but this is very much real and will be shown off by Nissan at the  New York International Auto Show next week.

It is called the GT-R Pursuit 23 aka ‘Copzilla’ and it is a project commissioned by Nissan themselves for the show. Basically it is a bad-ass cop car since it features lights, sirens, police-inspired livery, a brush guard and some menacing dish-style wheels. You can’t tune a GT-R without slapping on a massive rear wing so they did that too.

The Pursuit 23 did not receive any engine mods which means it retains its 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine, which produces 562 horsepower. What are your thoughts on this? Comment below.
