Is It Fashionable In China Not To Wear Seat Belts?

I just don’t understand this? Why would you want to risk your safety in a car and look like a complete idiot! I was sent these pictures of Chinese motorists wearing shirts that mimic them wearing a seat belt so the police think they are abiding by the law. This to me is just completely ludicrous!

Now as if that is not bad enough we all know how annoying the beeping gets when you don’t put your belt on so they have made these little devices to silence the car and make sure they really don’t need to put their belts on. If you can believe your eyes they took it another step further and made ones that act as bottle openers too! WTF? No belts and inviting drinking and driving? This is IDIOTIC!
