Very recently a high-speed chase involving a Scion FR-S ended with a heavy crash in Medina County. Police stopped the vehicle and as one of the officers got out of the car, the car sped off. The chase ensued and ultimately ended when the suspect collided with a service vehicle. The suspect was entrapped in the car and needed to be cut out (hence why the car looks like it does). He was flown to hospital with serious injuries. Apparently he had plans to commit suicide by cop as he had a fake gun in the car with him which police found. This case is still under investigation. There is a video below which shows the chase but the actual impact was missed.
